Nusuk app surpasses 51 million users globally
Saudi Arabia:
In a major milestone for digital pilgrimage, Saudi
Arabia’s Nusuk app, the official guide for pilgrims to the holy sites, has
surpassed 51 million users.
Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfig Al-Rabiah
announced that the Nusuk app has reached the milestone figure, Saudi Press
Agency reported.
The announcement was made during his speech at the
opening ceremony of the third Umrah and Ziyarah Forum, being held in Madinah
over three days with wide local and international participation.
Organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in
partnership with the Pilgrim Experience Program, the Umrah and Ziyarah Forum is
being held at the King Salman International Convention Center from March 30 to
April 1.
Nusuk, developed by the Ministry of Hajj
and Umrah, provides over 130 digital services to help pilgrims plan their
journey from issuing Umrah permits and booking visits to Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah,
to checking crowd density and accessing support, improving the overall
experience and satisfaction of visitors.
It is a comprehensive digital ecosystem that
allows users to arrange every aspect of their pilgrimage including hotel
bookings, Haramain train tickets, and flights — all within a single, streamlined
platform.
Complementing these logistics are spiritual tools,
including Qur’an access, prayer times, daily athkar, and Qibla direction,
designed to support faith and focus whether one is in Makkah or abroad.
