Kuwait Airways signs cooperation protocol with LuLu Hypermarket
Kuwait:
As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen
commercial partnerships and expand cooperation across multiple sectors, Kuwait
Airways has announced the signing of a joint cooperation protocol with LuLu
Hypermarket Kuwait. The agreement aims to enhance trade exchange, which will
positively impact the local economy, and open new opportunities in various
fields that serve the interests of both parties, while positively impacting
their customers.
The protocol was signed by Kuwait Airways
Chairman, Captain Abdulmohsen Salem Al-Fagaan, and the Director of Operations at
LuLu Hypermarket Kuwait, Sreejith Kolanthra Sreerajan, in the presence of the
Acting Chief Executive Officer at Kuwait Airways, Captain Abdulwahab Ibrahim Al-Shatti,
along with several senior officials from both companies.
Under the protocol, LuLu Hypermarket will be able
to transport its goods from various destinations around the world via Kuwait
Airways. Additionally, Kuwait Airways will serve as a carrier for LuLu
Hypermarket’s employees and customers. The protocol aims to establish a general
framework for joint cooperation to strengthen bilateral and institutional
relations, that contribute to the exchange of cargo and various commercial
services between the two parties, in addition to participation in campaigns,
events and various activities that serve all parties.
Speaking during the signing ceremony, Kuwait
Airways Chairman, Captain Abdulmohsen Al-Fagaan stated, “Kuwait Airways is
pleased to sign this memorandum of understanding with LuLu Hypermarket Kuwait,
one of the leading retail entities in the region. With its strong presence
across all governorates of Kuwait, LuLu Hypermarket is an ideal partner for
implementing joint initiatives that enrich the customer experience and enhance
business cooperation.”
Al-Fagaan stated, “This protocol represents a new
step in Kuwait Airways’ strategy to expand its partnerships with private sector
institutions in the country, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the
national economy and supporting the shared vision of building a diversified and
sustainable economy.”
Al-Fagaan added, “This protocol consolidates the
principle of effective partnerships with both public and private sector
institutions, reflecting Kuwait Airways’ firm belief in the importance of
integration among various entities to support the economic development process
in the State of Kuwait. It also demonstrates Kuwait Airways’ commitment to
establishing frameworks for joint cooperation with various organizations,
governmental and private, in ways that stimulate the national economy and
support the State of Kuwait’s ambitious development plans.”
Al-Fagaan emphasized that the signing of this
protocol aligns with the “New Kuwait 2035” vision, which aims to strengthen
Kuwait’s position as a regional financial and commercial hub by fostering
partnerships that create added value and promote sustainable development across
various sectors.
Al-Fagaan concluded by stating that this
represents the beginning of future joint projects aimed at enhancing the
standing of both institutions, and services to their valued customers, while
contributing to the development of Kuwait’s commercial and service sectors in
line with future aspirations.
On his part, Sreejith Kolanthra Sreerajan,
Director of Operations at LuLu Hypermarket Kuwait, stated, “This partnership
with Kuwait Airways embodies our commitment to business collaboration and
superior experience to customers. Together, we will explore innovative solutions
that provide tangible benefits to the communities we serve.” He added, “We are
pleased to partner with Kuwait Airways, the national carrier of the State of
Kuwait with a long and distinguished history in aviation. This partnership paves

and support our joint efforts to deliver added value to the local market.”
